Soner Dursun vs “Flash” Morgan Webster – FutureShock Uproar #94

Soner Dursun (c) vs “Flash” Morgan Webster

FutureShock Adrenaline Championship

05/21/2017

Masonic Guildhall, Stockport, Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom

(reviewed 10/26/2017) The “Dursun defends his title against bigger names” tour continues. This time around it’s with someone he can dominate a bit, which makes for a neat divergence from his previous matches that I’ve seen and I’m glad to see that it’s a role he wears well. Webster doesn’t stay down long as he’s more experienced and is more explosive, but Dursun stays with him and we get an extended back-and-forth sequence building towards the finish. There’s more than a little awkwardness as Dursun has less than 100 matches in the bag and Webster is no polished worker himself, but it’s a fun little trope-heavy midcard spotfest that has no pretense about being something better than that so I can live with those flaws.
