Hiroshi Tanahashi, Titan, & Juice Robinson vs CHAOS (Kazuchika Okada & Shinsuke Nakamura) & Barbaro Cavernario
Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan
(reviewed live) Shinpei Nogami on commentary fucking melts into nothingness when Nakamura comes out, which seems odd. Okada and Nakamura both come out in Cavernario caveman masks, and a million bucks says that this wasn’t Okada’s idea. Okada and Juice start us off, and Okada “wrestles” circles around Juice, tying him in knots, locking in a Milano Collection AT’s Paradise Lock as Milano watches from the commentary table. Titan and Cavernario tag in and are a joy to watch. Titan does a crazy moonsault over the ropes and nearly dies, Nakamura jumps him, and everyone brawls on the outside real quick before CHAOS and caveman get the advantage, working over Titan. Nakamura and Cavernario do a tandem vibration on Titan in the corner, but walk away when Okada tries to do it, and I want 100000% more of Okada getting totally punked out in my New Japan matches. All three stomp on Titan in the corner and do the worm afterward, and Okada can barely do it because he has no flexibility whatsoever. So too in wrestling. Okada also goes for a run up the turnbuckle to do a dive on Tanahashi and totally fucks it up, just doing a weak tope over the top instead. Titan and Nakamura do a bit of a wrestle, and Titan gets his shit in, and looks damn good doing it. Cavernario hits a big cradle suplex on Juice for two, and he follows it up by diving off the top, hitting a big splash on Titan laying out on the floor. Juice and Okada go at it, with Okada hitting the Rainmaker for the win. Ok little match based on the enjoyability of everyone outside of Tanahashi and Okada, but nothing special.
