Los Perros del Mal (Perro Aguayo Jr & Pentagon Jr) vs Myzteziz & Rey Mysterio Jr

I’m almost certain that this was Perrito’s last big match before his death, unless he somehow had a bigger match in the next two days and I didn’t hear about it, and considering the skill present here, I’m expecting big stuff. Myzteziz has a Cibernetico-esque bodysuit on here, which is pretty weird. Rey’s entrance sees, like, 30 children in his mask come out to the ring before him, and I think someone should call Atlantis and tell him Rey’s stealing his gimmick. Rey’s got a cool-ass robo-panther-gladiator mask or something on top of his normal mask here, and it’s super cool. Myzteziz and Perrito start us off with punches, and the match breaks down a big and the faces get ranas and dives on Los Perros. Lots of shine here at the beginning for the faces, and they work over Perrito with a chair, both of which are pretty surprising. Pentagon sweeps Rey’s leg when he goes to run the ropes, and Los Perros gain the advantage. Perrito uses some chairs on Myzteziz inside, and Pentagon works over Rey outside with a mop, I think. The heels work over the faces fairly easily, but Rey and Myzteziz get tandem victory rolls for two, but it’s the only offense they get in the middle portion of this match. Rey gets some flips in shit in on Pentagon, but Perrito jumps him right as Pentagon powders. The faces finally get some momentum, and Myzteziz rips off his Cibernetico bodysuit, and the ladies cheer, but Pentagon cuts him right off again. Myzteziz gets a big comeback against Perrito, topping it off with a big dive off the ring post to the outside, and Rey and Pentagon fire up the crowd well before they go at it. Pentagon hits a pretty sick military press gutbuster for two. Pentagon goes for his powerbomb double knees and eats a 619 and then a beauty of a headscissors DDT. Rey hits a Canadian Destroyer, kind of surprising, for three. Not bad, kind of a typical lucha tag, but serviceable and fun. I’m left wanting more, though, and I’m sadly never going to get it from this combination of four men, considering the circumstances.
